On November 20, a scientific conference, organized jointly by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia and the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, took place in the Georgian capital. The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
The conference was attended by a Turkmen delegation, representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the Creative Union of Writers of the country, heads of higher education institutions, and media representatives.

Presentations were made by Ambassador of Turkmenistan D. Seyitmammedov, President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and Academician R. Metreveli, Professor I. Kurdadze of Tbilisi State University, and other experts. Participants noted Turkmenistan's contribution to strengthening international cooperation and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The speakers emphasized that the unanimous adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution on Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality for the third time demonstrates the country's growing international standing. The development of Turkmen-Georgian cooperation in culture and education was also noted.
The conference concluded with a concert by Turkmen musicians and an exhibition of arts and crafts, showcasing Turkmenistan's cultural heritage.
