The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Morocco (with residence in Ankara) Mekan Ishangulyev presented his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the award ceremony took place in the city of Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
During the subsequent bilateral meeting, M. Ishangulyev conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of the leadership of Turkmenistan to King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Minister N. Burita expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm greetings and good wishes and asked for his friendly greetings in return.
The parties discussed strengthening relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Morocco, including expanding bilateral political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation.
The parties also discussed preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will take place on December 12 in Ashgabat, the source noted.
