Turkmenistan is ready to discuss concrete steps to strengthen energy partnerships in the region, including the creation of a powerful network for the production, supply, and consumption of electricity in Central Asia and its surrounding areas. This was stated by Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, according to the Golden Age publication.
"Turkmenistan is also ready to discuss further concrete steps to strengthen our energy partnership. This isn't just about pipeline projects; today we're discussing the importance of expanding our energy sector," the head of state noted.
According to Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the creation of a powerful network for the production, supply, and consumption of electricity in the region and its surrounding areas will create a reliable material base for the sustainability of the entire power supply system and provide guarantees against the impact of potential negative external factors.
