The next meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation is scheduled to take place in Ashgabat in November.
Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov reported this at a meeting of the Turkmen government on November 14, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The meeting's agenda includes issues of further expanding cooperation in trade and economics, oil and gas, energy and industrial sectors, transport, communications and information technology, textiles, agriculture and environmental protection, science, education, healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, culture, sports and youth policy.
In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a draft of the relevant Resolution for consideration by the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan maintains fruitful relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. To further develop the established bilateral cooperation, the head of state signed a resolution approving the composition of the Turkmen side of the Joint Working Group.
