S7 Airlines plans to launch direct flights between Ashgabat and Novosibirsk. This was announced by S7's General Representative for Central Asia, Evgeny Chernyshev, on the sidelines of the 18th International Exhibition "Türkmentel–2025" and the International Conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development–2025."
"We really hope to launch a flight from Ashgabat to Novosibirsk next spring. This is currently under active development," said an airline representative.
Chernyshev reminded that S7 has been present in the Turkmen market for almost two decades. "We launched the Moscow-Ashgabat route in 2008, and it's been almost 20 years since we've been actively flying to Turkmenistan," he noted. The airline currently operates seven flights a week on this route.
The XVIII International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Türkmentel-2025" and the International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development – 2025" (ITTC-2025) opened in the capital of Turkmenistan on November 12. The events will run until November 14.
