Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has concluded his working visit to the United States, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Before departing Washington, the Turkmen leader congratulated Aksoltan Atayeva, Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, on her birthday at Andrews International Airport. The President also presented congratulations and a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Upon arrival in Ashgabat, the head of state was met at the airport by government officials.

The President of Turkmenistan's participation in the Central Asia-United States of America summit reaffirmed the country's commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and multilateral cooperation, the statement noted. Turkmenistan views this format as an important mechanism for advancing national and regional interests.
The Turkmen side emphasized the international community's attention to issues of transport connectivity, energy security, and environmental sustainability. Ashgabat is contributing to addressing pressing global issues and strengthening its position in the region as a transit and energy hub, the report emphasizes.
During the working visit, members of the official delegation of Turkmenistan held a number of bilateral meetings, during which they discussed issues of mutual interest.
