Turkmenistan is ready to continue promoting international and regional cooperation in countering modern challenges and threats, including through projects of the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors (CARICC).
This was stated on November 6 by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova at a meeting with the new director of CARICC, Mahmud Khamidov.
During the conversation, M. Bashimova congratulated her interlocutor on his appointment to the new position and wished him success in his responsible work.
She also praised the work of CARICC, emphasizing its significant contribution to coordinating the efforts of participating countries to combat illicit drug trafficking, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
