This week, the IX Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov announced the results of its competition for the best performance of classical music among musicians of various specialties.
On November 3, a gala concert was held at the Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery at the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, marking the conclusion of a week-long marathon of competitive auditions where participants showcased their talents.
The competition received over 100 applications from the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Guatemala, and Turkmenistan. This year's festival is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust, and the gala concert was dedicated to the memory of Zurab Tsereteli (1934–2024).

Murad Sadykov Special Prize for the performance of a military song – Mark Yagneshko (Russia).

Kristina Zaskanova (Russia, middle age category, 13-14 years old) received the Grand Prix and an annual scholarship from the Foundation for the Development of Science and Innovation.

The jury, chaired by composer Mamed Huseynov, the festival's artistic director, included experts in various categories.
As a reminder, the festival also included the International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Face of War in the Mirror of Art," dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
