Representatives of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan participated in the XXX International Scientific and Technical Conference "Modern Communications," which was held in Minsk from October 30 to 31.
The forum brought together telecommunications experts, research scientists, programmers, professors, teachers, researchers, and postgraduate students from scientific and educational institutions in 14 countries, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Yemen, China, Lebanon, Libya, and Moldova.
As reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age, Kakabay Hojanepesov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and candidate of technical sciences, delivered a report on "Development and Digitalization of Turkmenistan," in which he discussed the development of the country's telecommunications industry and the prospects for the digital development of the Arkadag smart city.
During the section "Communication Theory, Systems, and Data Transmission Networks," Ovezmuhammet Babayev, a lecturer at the Department of Radio Communications and Radio Engineering Systems, presented a report on the nature of 4G network signal propagation in Turkmenistan.

Colleagues from the Belarusian State Academy of Telecommunications expressed interest in developing cooperation with the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. Several areas of collaboration include mathematical modeling and computational mathematics, neural network training, high-performance computing, optimization problems, as well as the development of software engineering methods and systems programming.

As a result of the discussions, the parties confirmed their mutual desire to establish contacts for the subsequent implementation of joint projects.
