Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the Central Asia – United States of America summit, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
"Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for the planned working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the United States of America at the invitation of President Donald Trump for a bilateral high-level meeting and participation in the Central Asia + USA summit, which will be held in Washington," the statement said.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that there are good prospects for the further development of Turkmen-American relations. "The upcoming summit in the United States is designed to promote the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries," the head of state emphasized.
It was previously reported that the "Central Asia + USA" summit is scheduled for November 6.
