The “Turkmengas” State Concern invites German companies to participate in long-term projects to develop the country's hydrocarbon resources. This was announced by Berdimyrat Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Concern, during the Days of Turkmenistan's Economy in Germany.
"Turkmenistan places great importance on trade and economic cooperation and invites German partners to actively participate in projects involving capital and advanced technologies," Amanov said.
According to him, the concern welcomes various forms of cooperation – from direct investment to contracts for construction and equipment supply financed through export credit agencies. Priority is given to stimulating foreign direct investment.
Turkmenistan's potential hydrocarbon resources amount to 71,2 billion tons of oil equivalent. The reserves of the largest “Galkynysh” field, together with the Yashlar and Garakel fields, are estimated at 27,4 trillion cubic meters of gas, as confirmed by an independent audit by the British company Gafney, Cline & Associates.
The deputy head of the concern emphasized that experience interacting with foreign companies has proven Turkmenistan's ability not only to attract investment but also to fulfill its obligations promptly, which cements the country's status as a reliable partner in long-term investment projects.
“Turkmengaz” is engaged in the development of gas fields, production, processing and transportation of natural gas and gas condensate, as well as the export of energy resources.
