On October 27, the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan, conducted by R. Klychev, will perform a concert in Ashgabat titled "Tchaikovsky – the Voice of the Russian Soul," dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the world-famous composer.
The concert, organized by the Russian Embassy and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, will take place at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.
The concert begins at 19:00.
Admission to the concert is by invitation only.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893), the great Russian composer, is known worldwide for his musical works: operas, romances, and choral works. His work represents an extremely valuable contribution to world musical culture and marks a new stage in the development of Russian music.
