Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held telephone conversations with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
The foreign ministers noted the high level of political and diplomatic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Qatar. Particular attention was paid to the organizational aspects of the International Forum for Peace and Trust, which will be held on December 12 in Ashgabat.
The parties also emphasized the importance of continuing regular contacts between the foreign ministries of the two countries at the highest level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
