Ashgabat's public organization "Ýenme" traditionally took part in the annual international festival "White Cane," which is a symbol of independence and freedom for people with visual impairments.
This year, young Shirin Jumayeva represented Turkmenistan on the White Cane stage. Together with renowned singer Mark Tishman, she performed the heartfelt song "Sveti." The duet drew a storm of applause and touched the hearts of everyone in the audience, reports Ýenme.
The White Cane Festival, founded and supported by the Diana Gurtskaya Foundation "At the Call of the Heart," is a space where the light of every child's soul, regardless of their unique circumstances, can shine and inspire. It's more than just a cultural event; it's an important platform uniting talented children from around the world, artists, and everyone who believes in the power of art and inclusivity.
