Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed preparations for the 2025 meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Galymzhan Koishybayev, according to a statement on the Turkmenistan Foreign Ministry's website.
"The parties reviewed preparations for events scheduled for this year involving the two countries, including the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kazakh Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation," the Foreign Ministry's press service noted.
The statement also noted that the parties discussed cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Regular contacts at the highest and most senior levels are contributing to the consistent development of bilateral ties.
