Students in grades 10 and 11 of the A.S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian Secondary Comprehensive School in Ashgabat met with representatives from leading Russian universities, according to the press service of the Russian House in Ashgabat.
The meetings were held as part of the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of the Renaissance of the New Era and the Powerful State of Turkmenistan.
"During the meetings, the guests presented their educational programs, discussed admissions opportunities, student life, and prospects for studying in Russia," the statement said.
The school was attended by representatives of eight Russian universities: MIREA – Russian Technological University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (MIET), Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, MGIMO University, St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design, and Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
As noted in the statement, the meetings have become an important part of the development of humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia, opening up new opportunities for graduates to obtain a high-quality education and build a successful future.
