During his working visit to Turkmenistan, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko visited the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, where he gave a lecture to students on the key challenges of digitalization and new IT training programs, according to the Russian government press service.
Kakabay Hojanepesov, the institute's Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, stated on the sidelines of the meeting that Turkmenistan is interested in collaborating with Russia in the field of digitalization. "We not only have interest, but we already have a relationship," he noted in a conversation with a RIA Novosti correspondent.
According to the vice-rector, faculty and students from Turkmenistan participate in conferences at various Russian universities, including Kazan State University. "Cooperation with Russian universities is one of the best we've seen. And not only in the digital field, but also in education," he said.
