Turkmenistan has registered 342 investment projects involving Russian companies, totaling 3,5 billion USD. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev at a meeting of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian commission on economic cooperation.
"Currently, 38 economic entities with Russian capital are registered in Turkmenistan. These include representative offices and branches of companies such as Gazprom, KAMAZ, Vozrozhdenie, Tatneft, and others. 342 investment projects involving Russian companies, totaling 3,5 billion USD, have also been registered," said Atagulyev.
According to him, Russia is one of Turkmenistan's main trading partners, with an annual trade turnover of approximately 1,5 billion USD. "Bilateral trade has maintained a steady growth rate in recent years. At the same time, an analysis of the range of export and import deliveries shows that there is significant potential for increasing trade volumes by expanding the range of products," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
"The Russian market is a priority for us, and we are interested in both importing and exporting our products to the Russian market," Atagulyev emphasized.
