METIZ, a leader in the Russian market for prosthetic and orthopedic products, presented its innovative developments at the International Exhibition "Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of the Renaissance of a New Era of a Powerful State," held recently in Ashgabat.
As reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age, carbon fiber feet, knee modules, as well as specialized waterproof modules and feet for METIZ prostheses were presented for review.
These devices, created using advanced materials, allow people with disabilities to return to a full life, play sports, and achieve high results.
For example, the multifunctional "MeHand" hand module is equipped with a touchscreen, allowing for instant switching between grips. As company representative Anton Ermakov explained, the prosthesis offers approximately 24 grip types. The patient controls it by contracting muscles.
The company aims to establish direct cooperation with Turkmenistan and collaborate with local specialists to introduce innovative solutions to the Turkmen market.
METIZ has been on the market for 25 years, successfully providing high-tech innovative solutions for people with permanent or temporary mobility limitations, the source notes.
