Around 20 representatives from Russian higher education institutions are participating in the international exhibition "Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State," which opened today in Ashgabat.
"Russian education is represented at a separate stand at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Guests from Russia representing various fields have arrived: the world-renowned MGIMO, the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, the Astrakhan State Medical University, and the Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University," said Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan and a representative of Rossotrudnichestvo.
According to her, visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn about the various educational areas represented in Russia. "It's gratifying that the exhibition and conference are attended by representatives of universities from various regions of the Russian Federation, including remote areas," the diplomat noted.
The exhibition is timed to coincide with Turkmenistan's Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers' Day, celebrated annually on October 10. The event will run until October 12.
