Emirati development company DAMAC Properties will participate in the CIET 2025 conference and exhibition, which will be held in Turkmenistan under the theme "Smart Construction. Clean Energy. Sustainable Future." The participation of the company, known for its large-scale residential and multifunctional projects in the Gulf region, marks a new stage in strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and international investors in the construction and urban development sectors.
The event will be organized by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan jointly with the Turkmen Energy Forum and will coincide with the country's Construction and Industry Workers' Day. The conference aims to highlight Turkmenistan's growing role as a regional hub for construction innovation and sustainable investment.
The forum's distinguished participants included representatives of major international companies: Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of the Board of Çalık Holding (Turkey); Volodymyr Petruk, CEO of Interbudmontazh Group (Ukraine); Andreas Busch from Wirtgen Group (Germany); Sangyu Moon from POSCO International (Republic of Korea); and Ella Mukherjee, Head of Ammonia and Nitrogen Sector at Fertecon (S&P Global).
The program includes presentations from international experts. Richard Dionne, Senior Advisor, CONNEX Support Unit, will present the prospects for renewable energy development. Jeffrey Macdonald, Managing Editor, S&P Global Commodity Insights, will present the latest market overview for construction materials, fertilizers, and cement production. The session "Smart and Sustainable Construction" will be moderated by Hermann J. Plenar, Head of Programme Department, UN-Habitat.
DAMAC Properties has extensive experience in integrated development, smart city technologies, and sustainable design—areas that occupy a key place in Turkmenistan's national development strategy. CIET 2025 will serve as a platform for promoting major national projects in Ashgabat, Arkadag, Avaza, and other industrial centers of the country, opening up opportunities for expanded international cooperation in one of the most dynamically developing construction markets in Central Asia.
