Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has authorized the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry to enter into a contract with ES Şadyýan Gurluşyk for the design and construction of a 300-bed inter-etrap multidisciplinary hospital in Tejen, including landscaping of the surrounding area, provision of modern medical equipment, spare parts and consumables, and specialized staff training. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The document stipulates that construction work will begin in October 2025 and that the Multidisciplinary Hospital will be fully operational in October 2028.
The contract was signed "for the purpose of further developing the domestic healthcare system and strengthening its material and technical base, significantly improving specialized medical services provided to the population using advanced technologies," as well as the consistent construction of modern healthcare facilities equipped with advanced medical equipment that meets international standards.
