Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, announced that Russian parliamentarians will participate in the International Year of Peace and Trust forum, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12, TASS reports.
"On December 12, Neutrality Day, a large-scale Forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust will be held in Ashgabat. The delegation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will certainly take an active part in its work," she said in a video address to participants of the second meeting of the heads of parliament of the Group of Friends of Neutrality member countries.
