An employee of the Training Center under the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan participated in the subregional seminar "Risk Analysis and Search Methods in Combating Drug-Related Crimes," which was held in Tashkent from September 23 to 25.
The seminar examined modern approaches to risk analysis, methods for detecting narcotics hidden in vehicles and containers, and presented the use of canine units in the fight against drug-related crime, according to the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
The workshop was organized by the Regional Office for Capacity Building for the European Region of the World Customs Organization (ROCB Europe) jointly with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the National Anti-Drug Training Academy (NEA, Türkiye) and the Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Centre (CARICC).
