The price of gold on the New York Comex Mercantile Exchange reached a new all-time high. The price of gold futures for December 2025 delivery exceeded 3 850 USD per troy ounce, vesti.ru reports.
According to trading platform data, at 2:15 PM Moscow time, the price of the precious metal was 3 851,6 USD per troy ounce, representing a 0,72% increase. By 2:30 PM, the price continued its upward trend and reached 3 853,5 USD per ounce, representing a 0,77% increase.
The previous all-time high was set on September 23 of this year, when the price of gold exceeded 3 800 USD per ounce for the first time.
Amid rising gold prices, oil prices declined. On London's ICE Exchange, the price of Brent crude oil futures for December 2025 delivery fell 0,83% to 68,99 USD per barrel. The price of WTI crude oil futures for November delivery fell 1,2% to 64,46 USD per barrel.
