German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier sent congratulations and best wishes to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of Independence Day, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
"Relations between our countries are developing rapidly. Thanks to Germany's strategic partnership with the countries of Central Asia, not only are regional ties deepening, but political, economic, social, and cultural interaction between our countries is also steadily strengthening," the statement reads.
According to him, current global challenges require solutions solely through constructive international cooperation.
"I assure you of Germany's unwavering commitment to supporting Turkmenistan in defending the international order and universally recognized values. I wish you all the best, and the people of Turkmenistan peace and continued prosperity," the German leader added.
