An art exhibition dedicated to the upcoming Independence Day celebrations has opened at the Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition features over 140 exhibits: paintings, ceramics, jewelry, sculptures, and dolls, reports Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The central place on the second floor was occupied by paintings created directly in line with the theme of the upcoming holiday: "Motherland of Brotherly Friendship" by Shohle Bakkalova, "Happy Childhood" by Aygozel Annamuradova, and "Melody of Independence" by Gyzylgul Hudayberdiyeva.

People's Artist of Turkmenistan Rejepmuhammet Berdyev presented three of his paintings: "Before the Exam," "Afternoon Snack," and "Girls with Jugs."

Irina Dolgova presented a triptych under the general title "Turkmen Traditions", which included the works "Spinner", "Grandmother's Pilaf", and "Potter" - round paintings.

Saparmamed Meredov presented graphic portraits of prominent artists: Jemal Saparova, Babasary Annamuradov, Klychmurad Yarmamedov, Saragt Babayev, and Bashim Nurali.

Ceramicist Dilber Umarova delighted visitors with her inexhaustible imagination—her compositions "Family," "Three Girls," "Tamdyrchi," and "Jugs of Love" were once again a great success.

Gulalek Babakulova, designer of the Anau City Cultural Center, presented a collection of 28 dolls in national dress at the exhibition.
