“Arkadag” and “Ahal” will play for the Turkmenistan Football Super Cup. The game will take place on September 25 at “Nisa” stadium in Ashgabat, kicking off at 4:00 PM local time.
“Arkadag” qualified for the Super Cup as the 2024 Turkmenistan Premier League champion and the Turkmenistan Cup winner. “Ahal” will play in the match as a Cup finalist.
This is the second consecutive Super Cup match for both teams. Last year, “Arkadag” won 3-1.
The Turkmenistan Super Cup has been held since 2005. “Altyn Asyr” has achieved the most success in the tournament, winning eight times.
Ahmed Begnazarov has been appointed as the match's main referee. Aymurad Veliyev and Hemra Amanmamedov will serve as assistant referees. Fourth official is Hanmurad Gurbanov, and match inspector is Kakabay Seidov.
