Today, the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica of Bucharest hosted the international conference "Turkmenistan's Path to Neutrality: 30 Years of Commitment to Peace and Stability."
The conference was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania.
Diplomats, representatives of Romanian government agencies, academics, and students participated in the conference, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The university's rector, Professor Mikhnea Costoiu, addressed those present with a welcoming speech, noting the importance of Turkmenistan's neutrality and its peace-loving policy.
The keynote address was delivered by Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Romania, A. Annayev. Particular attention was paid to the development of Turkmen-Romanian relations, including the Caspian Sea–Black Sea transport corridor project, as well as prospects for cooperation in energy, digital technology, and the environment.
At the end of the conference, participants were treated to a tasting of national dishes.
An exhibition was also held during the conference.
