The head coach of “Arkadag”, Rovshan Muhadov, stated that there will be no easy opponents in the upcoming AFC-2 Champions League tournament.
At a press conference on the eve of the opening match of the first round of the AFC-2 Champions League against Uzbekistan's “Andizhan”, Muhadov emphasized the high level of the tournament.
"There will be no easy games in the AFC Champions League 2. There are no weak teams in the tournament. Because, as you know, Ronaldo's team (Saudi “Al-Nasr” - ed.) is also in the competition. Therefore, there will be no easy games," said the “Arkadag” coach.
The coach noted that the team had carefully studied the opponent through matches of the Uzbekistan championship and identified the strengths and weaknesses of “Andizhan”. According to Muhadov, the functional readiness of the team is almost 100%.
"Tomorrow's match is a big celebration for the fans. Last year, having won the AFC Challenge League, we raised the bar high, this year we plan to continue at the same pace," the coach added.
“Arkadag” midfielder Mirza Beknazarov called on fans from all regions of Turkmenistan to support the team.
Note that the “Arkadag” – “Andizhan” match will take place today at 18:45 Ashgabat time.
