Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan, Atajan Movlamov, discussed prospects for expanding interparliamentary cooperation with the leadership of the International Congress of Parliamentarians.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Movlamov met with the Secretary General of the International Congress of Parliamentarians (IPC), Senator Sitara Ayaz.

The parties discussed prospects for intensifying bilateral cooperation, including deepening interparliamentary cooperation and exchanging experiences between parliamentarians of the IPC and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to creating sustainable channels of dialogue to more effectively coordinate efforts on issues of mutual interest.

The meeting participants expressed confidence that the development of interparliamentary relations will serve as the basis for strengthening cooperation in the regional and international context.
