The Oguzrobot school team from Turkmenistan will take part in the First Global Challenge 2025 world robotics tournament, which will be held from October 29 to November 1 in Panama.
This year's tournament will focus on "Eco-Balance," with participants from more than 190 countries creating robots to solve environmental problems and protect biodiversity, ussatnews.com reports.
The “Oguzrobot” team from Ashgabat consists of five talented schoolchildren: Emirhan Gylychmuhammedov, Ismail Charyev, Gurbangeldy Orazgeldyev, Shirmuhammet Gulov and Aznavur Cholukov. The team is led by experienced mentors Myrat Sahetgulyev and Didar Badyev.
This is not the first time the guys have represented Turkmenistan at the First Global Challenge: for several years now, the team has been winning medals and prizes.
The peculiarity of this tournament is not only the high level of competition, but also the cooperation between participants from different countries, which provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and cultural traditions, the source notes.
