During a visit to the border complex in Serakhs, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with new military equipment with high combat characteristics and gave instructions to improve the logistical support of military personnel.
As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, during the visit to the new complex of the Sarahs border detachment, the head of state studied the unique features of the presented military equipment that entered service with the military structures.
The President emphasized that the material and technical base of the country's military and law enforcement agencies will be steadily strengthened. Particular attention, according to him, should be paid to raising the professional level of military personnel, young soldiers and commanders operating military equipment.
During the visit, various military uniforms intended for the country's servicemen were demonstrated. The head of state noted the importance of developing military uniforms in accordance with seasonal conditions and ensuring a high level of food supply for servicemen.
Following the review, the President addressed a number of specific instructions to the responsible structures on issues of logistical support for the army.
