Yesterday, during a meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov and the new rector of Sukhumi State University Tea Jugeli discussed current issues of cooperation.
In particular, the parties discussed the issue of preparing and signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and Sukhumi State University.
Aspects of bilateral visits at the level of university rectors were also considered, which will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation between universities and academic circles of the two countries.

Ambassador D. Seyitmammedov noted the importance of continuing the traditionally close cooperation between the Embassy of Turkmenistan and the university, emphasizing the rich experience of successful joint initiatives in the educational, scientific and cultural spheres.
For her part, the rector expressed her readiness to actively support initiatives to develop joint academic and cultural projects and strengthen the partnership between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
