A new glass production workshop on the territory of an industrial complex in the northern part of the capital was ceremoniously presented with international certificates, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The CEO of Horn Glass Industries (Germany) Stefan Erwin Meindl congratulated everyone on the opening of the production facility, equipped with cutting-edge equipment.
Speaking about the advantages of glass products, the businessman said that the daily capacity of the new production facility is 100 tons of products that meet environmental standards.
Expressing sincere gratitude for the efforts made to consistently expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, the executive director of Horn Glass Industries presented the Minister of Industry and Construction Production with a certificate of conformity of the equipment installed here with international quality standards, in particular those in force in Germany.

The floor was then given to the representative of the company "Vetromeccanica Srl" (Italian Republic) Alessandro Nigro, who, having congratulated those gathered on the commissioning of a modern production facility, presented the Minister of Industry and Construction Production with a certificate of conformity of the technological devices installed in the workshop with international standards of quality, environmental management and safety.
The glass workshop was also awarded a certificate for the implementation of an integrated management system that meets international standards from the Italian company Bottero.
Turkmenistan pays special attention to improving all segments of the national economy, in particular the processing industry. A clear example of the targeted measures taken is the new production facility, which serves as an example of the effective use of a huge raw material base for establishing high-tech production and, as a result, increasing the economic potential of the state, the source notes.
