Turkmenistan is participating in the 10th International Festival of Authentic Turkic and Tatar Culture KURULTAI, which is taking place in the Romanian city of Tekrigheol from September 5 to 7.
The festival featured two Turkmen films that reflect the rich cultural heritage and modern trends of national cinema. The films “Red Kurte” by director Syhysalykh Bayramov and “Red Apple” by director Hekim Alovov were shown within the framework of the festival.
The screening of Turkmen films was part of an extensive festival program that included international art performances, exhibitions, master classes, traditional games and crafts.
The festival is held under the patronage of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO with the support of the Romanian Ministry of Culture. It aims to preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of peoples, strengthen intercultural dialogue and support the diversity of cultural traditions.
