The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan has called on drivers to be extra vigilant on the roads due to the growing intensity of automobile traffic in the country. This was reported in a publication by the Road Police Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the newspaper "Turkmenistan".
The department noted that the constant increase in the number of cars leads to the fact that the movement of various types of vehicles on the roads is becoming more intense year after year. In this regard, the importance of organizing coordinated traffic and ensuring its safety increases.
“Everyone knows that road accidents occur, first of all, due to the violation of established speed limits,” the report emphasizes.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that the correct choice of vehicle speed is one of the main conditions for road safety. According to paragraph 10.1 of the Road Traffic Regulations, the driver must drive the vehicle at a speed that allows the requirements of the rules to be met, taking into account the traffic intensity, vehicle characteristics, road and weather conditions.
The department emphasized the need for ongoing educational and explanatory work among drivers. It is noted that holding such events within the framework of the month "Road Safety - Peace of Our Life" has become an important tradition in Turkmenistan.
"Correct observance of the rules is an important responsibility of every road user. Road safety is the well-being of our homes and roads," concluded the Traffic Police Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
