Earlier we reported that from September 1 to 2, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova took part in the XX Bled Strategic Forum.
As part of the forum, M. Bashimova spoke at the round table The Centrality of Central Asia, where the prospects and priorities of cooperation between the European Union and the countries of Central Asia were discussed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

During the meeting between Mahri Basimova and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia for Multilateral Cooperation, Political Affairs and Development Dr. Melita Gabrič and the Adviser to the President of Slovenia on Foreign Policy Damjan Bergant, the parties discussed strengthening contacts at the highest level, developing trade and economic ties, cooperation in the field of education, as well as holding the next round of political consultations in Ljubljana.
Particular attention was paid to organizing events with the participation of business circles of the two countries.
Mahri Bashimova invited the Slovenian side to take part in the international forum for peace and trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12 this year, the source notes.
