Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Türkiye M. Ishankuliev held a working meeting with the Governor of Erzurum Province Mehmet Sekmen, during which the parties discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in various sectors of the economy.
The participants in the negotiations focused on defining priority areas for interregional cooperation. The agenda particularly highlighted the agricultural sector, industry, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and tourism. A separate item of discussion was the activation of business ties in the field of animal husbandry, which is due to the significant potential of both countries in this industry.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for establishing sustainable contacts between the business circles of Turkmenistan and Türkiye. The parties analyzed the possibilities of participating in joint investment projects, relying on the competitive advantages of the national economies of the two countries.
The diplomatic delegation of Turkmenistan also took part in the international Erzurum exhibition of agriculture and livestock. This event is recognized as the largest in Türkiye and is among the leading European industry exhibitions.
