On August 30, a reporting meeting was held in the central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of work for eight months. The tasks facing the oil and gas complex of the country, which were considered at the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on August 29, were also discussed. This was reported by ussatnews.com.

The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, Ashyrguly Begliyev.

During the meeting, which was held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmengaz" Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" Gurbangeldi Garlyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke.

The discussions focused on issues of increasing the production of oil, natural gas, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the widespread use of digital system capabilities in the complex's activities, the intensification of phased work at the “Galkynysh” gas field, the identification of promising new fields and formations, the effective development of international cooperation in an important sector of the national economy, the performance of work in accordance with weather conditions, improving the supply of enterprises and the population with natural gas, as well as other important areas.

The Deputy Prime Minister identified important tasks for the state concerns “Türkmengaz”, “Türkmennebit” and the State Corporation “Türkmengeologiýa”.
