On September 21 at 16:00 in the A.N. Scriabin Memorial Museum there will be a chamber concert "Towards the international competitions and conference of the IX Festival "Sounds of Dutar"".

The concert precedes the key events of the festival: the International Competition of musicians-performers of various specialties for the best performance of academic music based on ethnocultural traditions, the International Competition of Reciters “Universe of the Word”, as well as the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Face of War in the Mirror of Art”.

The festival "Sounds of Dutar" is active throughout the year. It started in April in Moscow with the concert "Turkmen Nightingale" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR Medeniet Shahberdyeva. Among the series of past events, a special place is occupied by the Russian-Turkmen concert "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood", which took place on August 15 in the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky with the participation of Turkmen and Russian musicians.

The upcoming concert at the A.N. Scriabin Museum will be the final event preceding the competition.

The organizing committee of the festival "Sounds of Dutar" reminds that applications for the competitions and conference are accepted until October 1:

• Competition of musicians-performers of various specialties for the best performance of academic music based on ethnocultural traditions.
• International competition of reciters "Universe of the word", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
• International scientific and practical conference "The Face of War in the Mirror of Art", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
