Today in Turkmenistan there is a holiday that personifies the dynamic and comprehensive harmonious development of the country - the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth and the beginning of the new academic year.

On this occasion, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to schoolchildren, students, teachers and employees of the education system of independent neutral Turkmenistan, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

“I am confident that the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, solemnly celebrated during the International Year of Peace and Trust, will become one of the unforgettable and significant holidays for schoolchildren, students, teachers and our courageous people, increasing pride in the Fatherland,” the Address says.

Thanks to the successful implementation of national programs, concepts and strategies, the country has consistently expanded the network of modern educational institutions with innovative technologies, and significantly increased the effectiveness of educational activities based on national and advanced practices. Along with this, targeted partnerships with international organizations and foreign countries have been significantly activated.

As the President noted, the young generation is our pride and honor. The valiant ancestors of the Turkmen people - Oguz han, Gorkut Ata, Gorogly Bek, Alp Arslan, Togrul Bek, Salyr Gazan, Sultan Jalaletdin, as well as hundreds of Turkmen scientists and masters of words left an indelible mark in world history. Every young Turkmen citizen should follow their example, make breakthrough discoveries, show creativity, and take a creative approach to work.

“Selfless, persistent and conscientious work in the name of the further prosperity of the Motherland in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state is the sacred duty of each of us,” the head of state concluded, wishing everyone good health, a prosperous and happy life, great success and achievements in scientific and creative activities.
