In January-July of this year, 208 864 Turkmen tourists visited Uzbekistan. This was reported on the website of the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan.
Thus, Turkmenistan ranks sixth in terms of the number of tourists during this period.
The top five in the rating included the Kyrgyz Republic (1 million 846 thousand), Kazakhstan (1 million 466,5 thousand), Tajikistan (1 million 441,6 thousand), Russia (536,8 thousand) and Afghanistan (267,4 thousand).
