Students of grades 7-12 of secondary comprehensive schools of the city of Ashgabat are invited to participate in the scientific and creative competition "Ozone and Climate".

Participation in the competition is individual: it is necessary to create a visual layout and project work on the topic "What can a person do to preserve the ozone layer and mitigate the effects of climate change?" The layout should clearly demonstrate the proposed measures, and the volume of the project work should be 5-10 pages. This is reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Works must be submitted before September 26 to the public organization "Young Naturalist" at the address: Ashgabat, Kopetdag etrap, Azadi street, 61.

All participants of the competition will be awarded certificates, the winners - memorable gifts.

The competition is held on the occasion of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer by the public organization "Young Naturalist" together with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The main goal of the competition is to raise awareness among schoolchildren about the problems of the ozone layer and climate change, to develop their environmental culture and research skills.
