Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries over the phone with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
During the conversation, the parties emphasized the importance of interaction in the international political arena. The interlocutors agreed to continue an active political dialogue, including negotiations and contacts at the level of foreign ministers in accordance with the Cooperation Program between the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation for 2025-2026, signed in Ashgabat in June of this year.
