In Astrakhan, as part of the Caspian Media Forum program, a screening of the Turkmen-Uzbek feature film “Magtymguly Fragi” took place.
The screening took place in the “Illusion” cinema, attended by the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan), the Turkmen delegation that arrived to participate in the Caspian Media Forum, students from Turkmenistan studying at Astrakhan universities, as well as representatives of the Turkmen diaspora. Chief specialist of the International Relations Department of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan Amangeldi Atayev addressed all those gathered with a welcoming speech. He noted the significance of the work of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi for the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan and emphasized the importance of developing humanitarian ties between the countries of the Caspian region.
