The Turkish visa center Gateway International announced changes in the application procedure for student visas for citizens of Turkmenistan, which will come into effect on August 20, 2025. This was reported on the official website of the center.
According to the new rules, citizens of Turkmenistan who wish to obtain a student visa can apply without an appointment. The main condition is to provide a document confirming enrollment in an educational institution or a student card.
According to Gateway International, the decision was made “due to a sharp increase in the number of applicants from Turkmenistan for student visas.” The new procedure is aimed at preventing possible complications and speeding up the process of document processing.
If all the necessary documents are available, citizens of Turkmenistan can apply to the visa center without an appointment. This significantly simplifies the procedure for Turkmen students planning to study at Turkish educational institutions.
