The Palestinian Ambassador to Ashgabat, Rana Abu Hijleh, expressed gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the humanitarian aid provided to the Palestinian people, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
As noted in the statement from the Foreign Ministry, gratitude was expressed during a meeting between the Palestinian diplomat and Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova.
“Rana Abu Hijleh, on her own behalf and on behalf of the leadership of the State of Palestine, expressed gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the humanitarian assistance provided to the Palestinian people,” the statement said.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Following the talks, the interlocutors confirmed their commitment to further developing the partnership between Turkmenistan and Palestine.
