A scientific and practical conference was held at the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, where current issues of transforming the digital economy were discussed.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the conference included an exchange of scientific knowledge and practical experience on topics such as cyber security, electronic document management, the introduction of alternative energy sources using digital technologies, as well as the expansion of the use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) and their integration into various sectors of the economy.

Senior employee of the Department of Geographic Information Systems Nikolay Nikolaev made a report on the use of spatial technologies on mobile devices, noting their successful use in natural resource management, urban planning and transport logistics, the source notes. As he emphasized, the QField mobile GIS tool is used for professional work with spatial data in the field.
