The specialists of the quality control department of JSC “Balkan Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant” successfully passed the certification for non-destructive testing (NDT) within the framework of the implementation of the project for the construction of two dry cargo vessels with a deadweight of 6100 tons.
As reported on the website of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan, specialists received certificates for ultrasonic (UT) and magnetic particle (MT) testing methods. The methods are key to ensuring high quality welding work, which is critical for the reliability and safety of future vessels.
